LSLK would like get multiple copies of a few books so that people
who come to the center for the first time and are looking for
information on Buddhism can take them for free.
The books that we’d like to get are:
B. Alan Wallace’s “Tibetan Buddhism from the Ground Up”
Khenpo Samdup’s “Learning Buddhism”
Thich Nhat Hanh’s “Old Path White Clouds:
Walking in the Footsteps of the Buddha”
Getting just 10 copies of “Tibetan Buddhism from the Ground Up” and 10 copies of Khenpo Samdup’s “Learning Buddhism” would likely cost over $200. Obviously, it will be expensive to get multiple copies of these books, so they would have to be set aside exclusively for newcomers who come to LSLK looking for information on Buddhism.
If you would like to donate money for this purpose, please do. There would be much merit in doing so, and it would be a great benefit to others who are just starting to learn about Buddhism!
